“A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
Our Martha's Ministry Program at St. Mary Magdalene Parish seeks to live out these words of Jesus by reaching out to fellow parishioners who may need a little extra help: a new baby, loss of a loved one, surgery, illness, or major life events. It is named in honor of Jesus’ dear friend who concerned herself with the ‘details’ of hospitality. Perhaps you or someone you know would appreciate a hot meal, a friendly call or visit, some help with grocery shopping, bereavement planning, or just a way to feel a connection to our parish. If so, please let us know, we would love to respond! If you would like to suggest someone, or if you (yourself) could use a little help or would like to join this ministry, please contact Bobbi Cass at 412.445.9285 or[email protected] or our pastoral associate, Melissa Viator at [email protected]. No request for help is too small or too great!
“We are many parts, we are all one body, and the gifts we have, we are given to share…” 1 Corinthians 12
